First launched in 2015, Momentum brings together adult members of the inhibitor community ages 18+ for a weekend of education and community building. The adult male population of the hemophilia community is often the most disenfranchised. Programming in our community typically focuses around new parents, new diagnosis and transitioning from parent to self-care. Momentum offers topics critical to adult men with an inhibitor such as treatment products, existing and in development, rehabilitative, vocational and career planning, ACA/health insurance changes, techniques for continued venous access health, as well as pain management-traditional and complimentary strategies. Our participants from 2015 are thrilled to hear this program will be offered again!
